I can't help but wonder if perhaps some of them have been watching the internet commentary and begun to get a sense of just how unfortunate their experience could have been had they even approached one of the funerals. I wish I could attribute it to a stunted, lingering sense of propriety and decency -- you know, such as even "lower" primates posses -- but I doubt it; they've made it clear that they have none. After all, their picket schedule calls the four dead cheerleaders "stiff-necked, rebellious whores of Tennessee." Anyone who feels justified in saying that ought to have the stones to stand in front of the grieving fathers and repeat it to their faces. Cowards.
