Despite the news release, the church had not listed the funerals on a "picket schedule" on its website as of Wednesday morning. Efforts to contact the church failed. Several telephone numbers belonging to the church have been disconnected.

The Independent Herald contacted the office of several members of the Phelps family, who are practicing attorneys. However, they refused to talk about Westboro Baptist Church.

I heard on WNOX news a little while ago the group plans to protest at SCH tommorrow and at the Hill sisters funeral on Friday and at Mcreary funeral home also on friday. Folks they might just walk into a hornets nest.

Which is what he is trying to achieve. Do you guys really think he wrote that stuff thinking it would somehow recieve a positive or even a neutral reply. The worse thing u can do to a guy like that is ignore him and his crap. Truth is he doesnt care about the tragedy or the truth one way or the other he just wants to elicit a negative response from you folks while he hides behind his computer. Makes him feel all above it. I set the trap for you all and u fell right into it letting your passion make the silly and hate filled replies that he said was typical of "people from the deep deep south". He even tries to give the illusion of being unafraid of the truth by posting replies. Well he selects what replies he wants I posted a calm rational reply stating that while there may be some responisibility to be discussed in this whole horrible matter now is not the time. And the manner in which he brings up his "points" is far more "vulgar" than any of the replies he recieved. He failed to post that reply> Im sure had i said I was coming to lynch him tho it would have been posted. At the end of the day he wants to play tough guy while hiding behind the internet and has no real opinion about this matter one way or the other dont play his game and just ignore him and his stupid website.

As far as the whacko church group goes. Let them have their hurtful ignorant say and reply with pity for them. The only way your gonna win a war with people like that isnt with confrontation but with love. Tell em you'll pray for them and you hope god forgives them and heals them of whatever anger they have thats making them do this stuff. Cause anyone who truely knows god knows god Is about love not hate.

Your wrong there his thrill comes from knowing he's upsetting people. If you dont allow yourself to get upset or at least dont allow him to see it to enjoy it he WILL go away. I'll use Andrew Dice Clay as an example at first he was famous cause he was so shocking of a comedian but after a while thats all he had and people got bored of it so he went away. Same thing will work for this guy.

Bottom line is you cannot stop him without becoming worse than him and killing him or something so dont give him the satisfaction. Thats how evil works. What good is it fighting for good if in order to do so you have to do the things that make evil evil. If you go that route evil wins either way.
