Thanks, Mama3. I watched it, and the lady they interviewed was Rhonda Ledbetter. They didn't mention her relation to the family, but Jewel King's maiden name was apparently Ledbetter. When asked if there was anything the community could do to help, she said just pray.

Channel 6 just gave a news blip that they would be speaking with a relative of Jeweline King at 11p.m.
As of right now, they have nothing on their website to post here.

SCOTT COUNTY (WATE) -- Two of the victims involved in a deadly accident in Scott County Friday night remained at UT Medical Center Sunday night. Rhonda Ledbetter, a family member says 49-year-old Malcum King and 22-year-old Miranda King are improving.

"Malcum is stable, he is doing better, he is more awake and talking a little bit more, and Miranda she still has a ways to go but she's doing better also."

The impact of the crash killed 49-year-old Jewel Ledbetter King of Fentress County.

"It is so hard. There are really no words to explain how much this hurts," said Ledbetter.

Ledbetter says Miranda King, who was 33 weeks pregnant, miscarried as a result of her injuries.

"If everyone would just pray that would be the best way to help the family right now," said Ledbetter.

Miranda King's 10-month-old son, Aiden Wilson was also in the car. He suffered minor injuries and is now back home with family.

Ledbetter says funeral arrangements for Jewel King and Miranda's baby will be held at Mccreary funeral home in Whitley City, Kentucky. Times and dates are pending.

First National Bank of Oneida is in the process of setting up a fund to help the families with expenses. You can stop by any branch of FNB and donate to the fund.

Click here to read this morning's Knox News report.

I think they got it wrong about the birthday party being at McDonald's. From what I understand, the party was at Alisha Collins' house. Can anyone confirm that?

You may be right about the Chambers' Farm. I'm just pretty sure it wasn't at McDonald's. Not that it really matters. Trivial in the grand scheme of things.
